WOMAD New Zealand is back in 2024, celebrating our 21st anniversary... and you're invited to the party!

About WOMAD NZ
The festival is a unified theme of world music, arts, and dance bringing sounds, scenery and good vibes together for three epic days from 15-17 March 2024. Held at New Plymouth’s famous Bowl of Brooklands and Brooklands Park, Taranaki; the park grounds transform to host one of the longest-running and best-established cultural festivals on the planet.

The 2024 festival line-up to date includes: Anthonie Tonnon (Aotearoa), Arooj Aftab (USA/Pakistan), Baaba Maal (Senegal), Bailey Wiley (Aotearoa), DakhaBrakha (Ukraine), Dubioza Kolektiv (Bosnia & Herzegovina), Equus (Mongolia/Australia), Gilberto Gil (Brazil), Good Habits (UK), Ibibio Sound Machine (UK), Lady Shaka (Aotearoa), Leenalchi (South Korea), Moonlight Benjamin (Haiti/France), Morcheeba (UK), Nitin Sawhney (UK), Pongo (Angola/Portugal), Rei (Aotearoa), Son Rompe Pera (Mexico), Strawpeople (Aotearoa), Te Kaahu (Aotearoa), Tejendra Majumdar & Ambi Subramaniam (India), Tio (Vanuatu), WITCH (Zambia), Ziggy Marley (Jamaica); and more artists to be announced at the end of November! 

WOMAD NZ 2024 will feature eight stages lined up with different musical genres, inspiring speakers, author talks and workshops, as well as a poetry slam, cooking demos with our talented artists, a global village featuring retail, wellness stalls and a selection of delectable food, Kidzone and finally Te Paepae, the heart of the cultural festival.  This is one of New Zealand's most vibrant, family-oriented and award-winning festival experiences not to be missed.

You will receive your PDF tickets via the email address on your order.

If you are paying by PayPlan instalments, your tickets will be emailed to you after receiving your final instalment.

GENERAL CAMPING

FAMILY CAMPING

- you would prefer a smaller, more family-oriented campsite

MOTORHOME CAMPING (SOLD OUT)
Our motorhome camp is great for you if:
- you are bringing your RV, motorhome, caravan, sleepervan, house bus or truck - anything on wheels!
*Motorhome camping ticket includes the tow vehicle
*For safety, no tents will be allowed into the motorhome camp.

ACCESSIBILITY CAMP (SOLD OUT)
Our accessible campsite is perfect for people with mobility challenges who:
- need easy, flat access to toilet, shower and wash-up facilities
- need their campsite close to their vehicle
- may have an Mobility Parking Permit
