For the First time see spectacular Live Performances of Te Kiwa Nui by Northern Wellington Primary Schools in Porirua, 7 August 2024.

Prepare to be captivated by an extraordinary showcase of talent as our primary school students come together on stage to celebrate arts, culture, language and heritage through mesmerising dance and music. Te Kiwa Nui promises to deliver an unforgettable experience, featuring vibrant performances from local primary schools and Intermediates such as Ngati Toa, Maraeroa, Russell, Rangikura, Natone Park, Porirua, Titahi Bay, Holy Family, Tairangi, Brandon and Porirua East, our 2024 Host school is Bishop Viard College.

Embark on a voyage from Aotearoa to Tonga, Te Kuki Airani, Tokelau, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Niue and Samoa, and immerse yourself in the rich storytelling woven by our talented local youth and vibrant communities.

Te Kiwa Nui will transport you to a world where cultural boundaries disappear and the universal language of music and dance unites us all. Prepare to be moved by the energy, passion, and talent displayed on stage as these young performers bring to life the stories and traditions of our ancestors.
