As we look forward to 2021, we reflect on the most unpredictable year of our lives... 2020 has truly brought it all! 

 

Recently, we’ve come to understand what’s fully possible with NZ borders, quarantine and international talent. Ultimately we’ve had to face major challenges and really dig deep to pull things together. We’ve spent the last few weeks reworking our line up, stages and overall offering... For you. 

 

So here it is! 

 

Firstly, the sad news: Flume and Pendulum unfortunately cannot perform at Bay Dreams in 2021 due to the changing international travel restrictions around COVID-19. Flume announced in a post today that he wanted to be able to deliver the level of production of previous NZ performances, and unfortunately this isn't possible with these travel restrictions and an internationally based crew. He apologised to NZ fans and hopes to return to NZ with the full live show soon.

 

So, we have called in 30 more acts to send this home and give you the summer you deserve, including a few of the biggest international DNB & hip hop artists we could convince to quarantine, plus MANY kiwi legends.

 

Exemptions for these artists have been approved by the government! ✅ 

 

Still, in true Bay Dreams fashion, we are proud to present you with the biggest international line-up in the country again this summer!
